Upper Tantallon, Nova Scotia

     

I signed up to travel to Ottawa to attend OnStage, my second event of this type.
I met up with Cathy Miller at the Halifax airport, we were in this together, and what an awesome time it was.
As Stampin' Up! demonstrators we are hardly ever alone. Lisa Henderson took us shopping to IKEA and we met my downline Amy and her daughters and one of my friends, also a very avid papercrafte.  What surprise!
The first day ended with dinner and lots of story telling. 
Early Saturday morning we walked to the venue enjoying the fresh air and beautiful sunshine. Close to 300 demonstrators from Canada, 11 from the US, gathered to celebrate achievements, learn new information and make several cards using brand-new product from the next Occasions Catalogue and our Sale-A-Bration flyer. Stampin' Up! Is well known for spoiling us at events, they did it again. 
At the end of the day we walked back to our hotel, full of new ideas, lots of gifts and swap cards in our special bags.  Our day ended with a pizza party where Cathy and I joined a small group of demo friends from Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, it coukd not have been any more perfect!
On April 8, 2017 Canadian demonstrators will gather again at OnStage, this time in Toronto, and I hope to see many of you there with me.

Fall has definitely arrived in Nova Scotia and today was a perfect day for a little crafting session with neighbourhood kids.
It was fun. Four young ladies joined me to decorate test tubes as treat holders and paper crates to set them in.
The also made a nice card to give to their mom as a Thank You for paying for class fees.
