Dragonfly Dream Birthday Cards
Today I made a birthday card for my Mama. She loves flowers and dragonflies, so this one iwll be special to her.
I CASEd my design from DeeDee Tibke, a fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. CASE means Copy And Share Everything, it is totally accepted and encourgaged, as long as we give credit to the original designer.
I scored the 10 1/4” x 5 1/2” piece of Rich Razzleberry at 3” and 7 1/4”, attached the 2 1/4”x 5 1/4” DSP pieces on the front flaps. I created the openings with the Classic Label punch, made myself a template from gridpaper to find the correct placement. The dragonfly was stamped in Versa Mark and Sahara Sand, embossed in Clear, die cut and attached to the inside center on a base strip of matching DSP left over from punching out. The card was completed by addig the oval tag to the front. The small dragonfly seems to be the icing on the cake.
Stamp Set: Varied Vases
Ink: Rick Razzleberry, Sahara Sand, Versa Mark
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Whisper White, Share What You Love Specialty DSP, Champagne Foil
Tools: Big Shot, Layering Ovals, Stitched Shapes, Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits, Classic Label punch
I’d love to show you how to make cards, check out my Events Calendar and register for a class soon.
Be happy and create and stamp a little every day.
