This Holiday Colour Inspiration features Evening Evergreen, Cherry Cobbler, and Pool Party. I think you will love how the rich, traditional colours are brightened with a pop of lighter Pool Party. It's traditional with a twist!

The first card features the stamps, dies, and paper from the Sweet Stockings Suite (#156273). The Sweet Stockings 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (#156281) has lots of images that coordinate with die cuts. The sweet dog and stocking are from the paper. As an unexpected twist, the large and small tag dies are used to create a dog house and the scalloped stocking top die makes the roof for the doghouse. Texture is added to the dog house with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder (#156406). A bit of sparkle is added with a tiny silver bow using the Simply Elegant Trim (#155766).


The second card features the Whimsical Trees Bundle (#156810) and the Tidings of Christmas 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (#155718) from the Annual Catalogue. Sweet details are added with the Everyday Label Punch (#144668), Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder (#153576), Pool Party 3/8" Grosgrain Ribbon (#156290), Silver Foil 12" x 12" Specialty Pack (#156457), and Subtle Shimmer Sequins (#156407).

TIP: This card can be created flat or add extra dimension with this sloped layers technique. Cut the two paper strips to 1" x 5-1/2" to leave space for overlapping. Adhere the far right strip to the card front with Stampin' SEAL. For the next strip and the 3" x 5-1/2" main panel add Stampin' SEAL to the left edge and Stampin' Dimensionals to the right edge. This creates a cool layered effect where one edge is higher than the other, kind of like shingles on a roof.
