Beat the winter blues - Go "Tropical" 

COLOUR INSPIRATION

           
 
Winter is holding on so I'm dreaming of a tropical vacation. I thought I'd use some of the gorgeous colours from the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper (#151252) to create the feel of an island getaway. These colours remind me of a warm summer sunset on a beach with palm trees.

The card on the right features the Tropical Oasis Suite. The flowers and leaves are stamped with Timeless Tropical stamp set (#151497) on watercolour paper and die cut with the coordinating In the Tropics Dies (#151495). A touch of texture from the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper (#151252) and the Basket Weave 3D Embossing Folder (#151797) complete the warm, rich effect of this card.

The card on the left features a selection of products from the Peaceful Poppies Suite. The poppies from the Painted Poppies stamp set (#151599) feature a faux colouring technique that uses the splatter stamp to colour them. The striped Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper (#151324) add a nice watercolour effect. The greeting from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (#151595) tops off a detailed layered accent created with Whisper White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding (#151326), vellum Peaceful Poppies Elements (#151327), Pearlized Doilies (#146936), and the coordinating Label Me Lovely (#151296) and Label Me Fancy (#151297) Punches.
